Hi there!

My name is Corey and I am a board certified, psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner, serving Ohio adults with mental health disorders.

 

Prior to obtaining my advanced practice degree from Northern Kentucky University, I earned my Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Ohio University. For 5 years, I worked as a registered nurse at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, caring for patients with complex medical and behavioral disorders. Additionally, I have clinical and didactic experience in community mental health, integrative medicine, and psychotherapy.

 

I am passionate about providing healing-centered care. In contrast to conventional psychiatry’s symptom-reduction approach, my aim is to uncover and treat the root cause so that you can live a happy and meaningful life.

 

Mental health is complex and can’t be reduced to basic neurochemistry. During our sessions, we will spend a long time understanding you, your history, your lifestyle, and your present symptoms. From there, we will work together to individualize a treatment plan that’s best for you.
