Why Lozier Health?
In contrast to conventional psychiatry’s symptom-reduction approach, I am passionate about providing healing-centered care. My aim is to uncover and treat the root cause of your problems so that you can live a more vibrant life.

Services

Comprehensive Evaluations
I first start with an initial 60-minute psychiatric evaluation, taking time to get to know you, your medical and psychiatric history, your present symptoms, and together, develop personal goals for treatment. I firmly understand that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health.

Medication Management
For many, the use of supportive medication, in conjunction with therapy, is vital. If it fits your needs and preferences, we will prescribe a medication that's best for you. During this time, I provide education on the neurochemical action, closely monitor the efficacy and side effects, and fine-tune your dosage for optimal performance.

Psychotherapy and Lifestyle Coaching
By establishing a strong therapeutic alliance, I can help clients develop healthy coping strategies, enhance self-awareness, and cultivate new thinking and behavior patterns. Our aim is to empower you to navigate challenges, develop resilience, and live a happier, more fulfilled life.
Ready to take your first step?
Feeling like it's time to explore medication? You're in the right place.
Hi, I'm Corey, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, and I help adults in Ohio, Kentucky, and Florida find clarity with their mental health.
I partner with people who are ready to explore if medication could be helpful.
Whether you're considering it for the first time, or you already have a wonderful therapist and need a dedicated partner to manage the psychiatric side of your care, my role is to help you find the right path forward.
How We'll Work Together
My process is collaborative and straightforward. We'll start by exploring the nuances of how you feel now, then look at your personal history to understand the full context. This holistic view allows us to make informed, effective decisions about your care—as a team.
My Professional Background
For those who like the details, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University and my psychiatric nurse practitioner degree from Northern Kentucky University. Before becoming a PMHNP, I spent six years as a registered nurse at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, caring for patients with complex medical and behavioral needs. I also have extensive training in community mental health, integrative medicine, and psychotherapy.
Please note: I am no longer accepting new patients whose primary need is ADHD management.

Are you able to prescribe controlled substances?
(ex. stimulants, benzodiazepines, etc.)
No, I do not prescribe controlled substances such as stimulants or benzodiazepines. If you are seeking medication management for these types of medications, I recommend connecting with a local psychiatrist or a specialized in-person provider who can offer comprehensive evaluation and ongoing support. If needed, I am happy to provide referrals to trusted professionals in the community.
What will our first appointment look like?
First and foremost, I will dedicate extensive time getting to know you as an individual—your unique history, lifestyle, and the symptoms you're currently experiencing. Then, we will go back to your early childhood and work our way up to your present history, bringing context to how you're wired. In essence, we won't simply ignore the "Check Engine" light; instead, we will lift the hood and thoroughly examine what's going on. With this comprehensive understanding, we can personalize a treatment plan that's best for you.
Are there any situations or conditions that your practice is not able to support?
To ensure you receive the highest quality and safest care, my telehealth practice may not be the best fit for everyone. I am not able to provide treatment for individuals with active substance use concerns, complex dual diagnoses such as schizoaffective disorder, or those seeking prescriptions for controlled substances (such as stimulants or benzodiazepines) for anxiety or ADHD management.
These needs are best addressed by specialized providers and in-person care teams who can offer comprehensive support. If you are seeking help in these areas, I am happy to provide referrals to trusted resources in the community.
What is your personality like?
Those closest to me say I have the ability to make people I just met feel like we've been lifelong friends. I try to balance my sincerity and professional demeanor with a sense of humor. I deeply care about helping people live happy and meaningful lives. I will work alongside you, cheer you on, research on your behalf, and keep at it until we've met your goals.
